Athena – Athena is not only the name of the Greek goddess of war but another extremely forgiving, high MOI putter that is also made with metal wood and driver construction in mind. The head has two pontoon-like appendages positioned behind the heel and toe that are constructed with the majority of the discretionary mass at the back of each. This weight distribution makes for a very stable putter that will resist a change in direction when struck off-center. It is made from 431 stainless steel and has a head weight of 350grams. A ball-width cavity in the cavity behind the face frames the golf ball to encourage proper alignment with the center of the face. Square head geometry makes for effortless alignment. The head is designed using the same manufacturing techniques used to make drivers and metal woods. The pronounced perimeter weighting allows discretionary weight to be placed where it helps a player most, in the back and towards the toe and heel.
